Beginning Wednesday July 13, 2005, Magic Johnson, creator of the Magic Johnson Foundation, held a week of events honoring hip hop artists for their contributions to advancind higher education. The 20th Annual “A Mid Summer Night’s Magic” was held in Los Angeles, CA and honored P. Diddy, Russell Simmons, Muhammed Ali, Star Jones-Reynolds and Quincy Jones.
