Nelly’s Pimp Juice stolen
Just three days before Christmas, nearly 3,000 cases of Nelly’s energy Pimp Juice drink in St. Louis, Missouri. The Juice was on its way for Trinidad. The island represents an emerging market for the energy drink.
President of Fillmore Street Brewery, William Wooten, had this to say about the incident:
“It is unbelievable to think that someone would steal an entire truckload of our product. I guess the only positive thought on the subject is that this means the product is in high demand,”
The Nelly endorsed drink expanded globally in 2005. It was being shipped to Canada, Australia, South Africa, and various other European countries. Nelly commented on the incident as being unfortunate that being had to get desperate this time of year but added jokingly that “Somebody’s holiday parties are going to be poppin.”
